If you do not want an aircraft to be shown on this site, write to us. Requests are free.
Most aircraft are not shown anyway: the live map shows only aircraft flying under a known airline callsign, and we try not to publish private aircraft, business jets or aircraft in the PIA or LADD programmes. The detection rules are not perfect; this page is for the cases they miss.
Who can apply
The owner or operator of the aircraft, a person who can be linked to the aircraft, or someone they have authorised.
What to send
- The aircraft’s hex code (the 6-digit ICAO 24-bit address) or its registration; both together are handled faster.
- An e-mail address we can reply to.
- A short explanation, if you like.
We do not routinely ask for the registration certificate. If you write on behalf of a company, writing from the company’s e-mail address or attaching a company document is enough. If the link between the request and the aircraft is not clear, we may ask for more information.
How to send it
Send your request to info@airline.live. The link below opens the e-mail with the subject and fields filled in.
What happens next
- We add the aircraft to the blocklist: it is no longer shown on the map, in search or in the API. Our target is a few hours; the request is concluded within 30 days at the latest.
- The flight records and track already stored for the aircraft are deleted under the retention rule within 30 days at the latest. If a legal hold is open because of an official request for information, a court order or a duty to preserve evidence, they are deleted once the hold is lifted.
- We tell you the result by e-mail. The request e-mail is kept for at most 30 days after the request is concluded.
- The blocklist is not published; it is not in the site’s code or in any public list.
